WARRANTY

Warranty Service

All products sold by Direct Bar Code are covered by a warranty. In addition to our standard warranty, extended warranties and maintenance programs may be available for select products. Extended coverage options will be discussed at the time of purchase or clearly noted on the product page.

Standard Warranty
  • Our standard warranty period is 90 days from the date of purchase for both new and refurbished products, unless otherwise stated.

  • We sell New, New Open Box, and Refurbished products. Warranty coverage may vary based on:

    • Product condition

    • Manufacturer warranty (for new products)

    • Customer requirements agreed upon at the time of sale

For exact warranty details, customers are encouraged to confirm coverage with a Direct Bar Code Sales Representative before or at the time an order is placed.


NEW PRODUCT RETURNS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
No Restocking on New Products

Direct Bar Code does not accept new products for return or restocking.

Defective New Products (Manufacturer Defects Only)

Returns for new products are accepted only if the product is not functioning properly due to a verified manufacturer defect.

Before any return can be initiated:

  • A post-sale technical support call must be completed

  • An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be approved

Products returned without an approved RMA number will not be accepted.


RMA RETURN REQUIREMENTS (STRICTLY ENFORCED)

Returned products must meet ALL of the following conditions. Failure to comply will result in the product being returned to the customer with a $50 processing fee plus return freight charges.

  • Product must be unused

  • Product must be complete and in original manufacturer packaging

  • Packaging must show no visible damage (no rips, tears, dents, compressions, holes)

  • Manufacturer packaging must not be re-taped

  • All factory seals and packaging tape must be unbroken

  • No writing, markings, or labels on manufacturer packaging
    (except the shipping label)

  • If shrink-wrapped, the shipping label must be placed on the shrink wrap

  • Manufacturer cartons must be packed inside an outer shipping carton (overboxed)

  • RMA number must appear on the shipping label only

  • RMA format must be exactly: RMA #XX-XXXXX

  • Returns must arrive at our warehouse within 14 calendar days of RMA issuance

  • Products must be properly secured to prevent damage during transit

Any shipment received without a valid RMA number on the shipping label will be refused or returned.

REFURBISHED PRODUCT RETURNS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Restocking Fee
  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all refurbished products

  • The restocking fee is waived only if a replacement unit is issued

Defective or DOA Refurbished Products
  • Returned refurbished products will be tested upon receipt

  • If the product is determined to be defective or DOA, a credit will be issued

  • If the product passes testing, a refund will be issued minus the 25% restocking fee

Freight Damage
  • Freight damage is not covered when orders are shipped using the customer’s shipping account

  • In such cases, the customer is responsible for filing a freight claim with the carrier


RETURN TIMEFRAME (ALL PRODUCTS)
  • All eligible return requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the sale

  • After 14 days, products become non-returnable


IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Policies apply to all orders unless otherwise stated in writing

  • Direct Bar Code reserves the right to update this policy at any time
