The Epson DFX-5000+ Dot Matrix printer achieves reliable high quality printing while achieving the lowest cost per page.
Choose the print speed that is best-suited for your application. This printer prints High Speed Draft at 560 cps, Draft Elite at 504 cps, Draft Pica at 420cps or Near Letter Quality at 84 cps.
The DFX-5000+ has advanced paper handling. It has automatic paper loading as well as auto-gap, allowing the printer to adjust automatically to the paper thickness. There is also automatic paper-jam detection and print head temperature sensing.
You can switch easily between two types of paper because of the dual paper paths.
The Epson ESC/P printer language, plus IBM ProPrinter II emulation, ensures compatibility with virtually all software and operating environments.
The printer has direct connectivty to a variety of networks through the user-installable interface boards. It comes with Centronics®-compatible 8-bit parallel and RS232C serial interfaces standard. The optional interfaces are Type-B Coax, Twinax and Ethernet.
